Hydrogen energy: the world’s first, the hydrogen energy rail crane and hydrogen refueling station have been demonstrated and led
On the afternoon of January 26, on the automated terminal of Qingdao Port of Shandong Port, a hydrogen-powered automatic rail hoist was independently developed and integrated by Shandong Port. This is the world’s first hydrogen-powered automatic rail crane. It uses China’s self-developed hydrogen fuel cell stack to provide power, which not only reduces the weight of the equipment, improves the power generation efficiency, and achieves completely zero emissions. “According to the calculation, the power mode of hydrogen fuel cell plus lithium battery pack realizes the optimal utilization of energy feedback, which reduces the power consumption of each box of rail cranes by about 3.6%, and saves the purchase cost of power equipment by about 20% for a single machine. It is estimated that the amount of 3 million TEU will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 20,000 tons and sulfur dioxide emissions by about 697 tons each year.” Song Xue, manager of the development department of Shandong Port Qingdao Port Tongda Company, introduced.
Qingdao Port not only has the world’s first hydrogen energy rail crane, but also deployed hydrogen energy collection trucks as early as 3 years ago. It will have the first hydrogen fuel cell vehicle charging demonstration operation project in the country’s ports. “The hydrogen refueling station can be vividly compared to a place to “refuel” hydrogen energy vehicles. After completion, the refueling of trucks in the port area is as convenient as refueling. When we conducted the road test of hydrogen energy trucks in 2019, we used tank trucks to refuel. It takes one hour for a car to fill up with hydrogen. In the future, after the completion of the hydrogen refueling station, it will only take 8 to 10 minutes for a car to refuel.” Song Xue said that the hydrogen refueling station is Shandong Port Qingdao Port in Qianwan Port Area It is one of the hydrogen refueling stations planned and constructed in Dongjiakou Port Area, with a designed daily hydrogen refueling capacity of 1,000 kilograms. The project is constructed in two phases. The first phase of the hydrogen refueling station covers an area of about 4,000 square meters, mainly including 1 compressor, 1 hydrogen storage bottle, 1 hydrogen refueling machine, 2 unloading columns, 1 chiller, and a station. There are 1 house and 1 canopy. It is planned to complete the construction of the first phase of the hydrogen refueling station with a daily hydrogen refueling capacity of 500 kg in 2022.
The first phase of photovoltaic and wind power projects was completed, saving energy and reducing emissions
At the Qingdao Port Automation Terminal of Shandong Port, the photovoltaic roof with a total area of more than 3,900 square meters is shining under the sunlight. Qingdao Port actively promotes the photovoltaic transformation of warehouses and canopies, and promotes the installation of photovoltaic power generation equipment. The photovoltaic annual power generation can reach 800,000 kWh. “There are abundant sunshine resources in the port area, and the annual effective sunshine time is as long as 1260 hours. The total installed capacity of various photovoltaic systems in the automated terminal has reached 800kWp. Relying on the abundant sunshine resources, the annual power generation is expected to reach 840,000 kWh. , reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 742 tons. The project will be expanded by at least 6,000 square meters in the future. While fully integrating the roof space efficiency, through the matching use of photovoltaic carports and charging piles, it can support green travel from multiple angles and realize a green port The cross-border extension of construction.” Wang Peishan, Engineering Technology Department of Qingdao Port Automation Terminal of Shandong Port, said that in the next step, the construction of distributed photovoltaic power stations will be fully promoted in the terminal maintenance workshop and cold box support, with a total installed capacity of 1200kW and an annual power generation of 1.23 million KWh, it can reduce carbon emissions by 1,092 tons per year, and save electricity costs by up to 156,000 yuan per year.
