8 Strand Nylon ropes used in multiple applications requiring some element of shock absorption. Nylon has high elongation and slightly higher tenacity than Polyester, but can be compromised by UV exposure and water. Torque balanced construction with firm round profile, 12 Strand Nylon is easily spliced, and used for general working lines, secondary mooring lines, mooring pendants, and slings and strops where high shock loads may be present.

Nylon 12 strand provides high strength, high elongation and excellent abrasion resistance in a single braid construction. It is easily spliced using a standard tuck splice and is 25% stronger than three strand or 8 strand nylon. Its torque free braided construction provides easy handling and prevents kinks and hockles. Can be used for mooring lines, anchor lines, tug hawsers.
